Reed Exhibitions’ flagship electronics manufacturing event, NEPCON China, was recently held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

Spanning an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, more than 450 leading brands from 22 countries and regions exhibited at the show. The three-day show ran April 21-23.

NEPCON China covers the entire surface-mount technology (SMT) sector and electronics manufacturing industry chain.

This year’s supporting activities included forums and seminars covering automotive electronics, new electronics materials, telecommunication electronics, smart wearable devices, smart factory 4.0, printing electronics and flexible electronics.

Marking the 30th anniversary of SMT’s introduction to China, this year’s show also featured an SMT zone to showcase top companies including ASM, Europlacer, Fuji Machine, Mycronic, Panasonic, Samsung Techwin, Tokyo Juki, WKK and Yamaha.

Reed launched a revamped app to support the show this year along with its Chinese social media account on WeChat.

The app provides attendees with real-time information including exhibitor information, products on display, show activities, text sending, exhibitor locator, and venue navigation.
