Association Analytics Unveils Platform to Consolidate Data and Drive Event Success

May 13, 2022

Association Analytics, a leading provider of business intelligence and data analytics for the association industry, debuted Acumen Major Meetings, a platform designed to improve conference and trade show performance with actionable data on exhibitors, sponsors and attendees all in one place.

The new platform augments the company’s flagship analytics platform, Acumen, which provides a 360-degree view of association members, bringing together all association data in one place for clients to visualize, analyze and take action.

Acumen Major Meetings was created to specifically address the pain points event producers are experiencing.

Event professionals increasingly rely on best-of-breed software platforms to help them do their job—systems for event registration, exhibit and sponsorship sales, floor plan management, email, abstract management and mobile engagement, to name a few, according to said Mark Lowry, president and chief revenue officer of Association Analytics. They also now have two years of virtual and hybrid data to help inform their event strategy in 2022 and beyond, he added.

“We recognized that event producers—whether for-profit or within associations—have the same need as users of our flagship product, Acumen,” said Mark Lowry, president and chief revenue officer. “They have data in a variety of systems that are often not integrated, making it difficult to gain insights to help them execute a successful event.”

Equally important right now is unlocking and gaining insights from all virtual event platforms event professionals have used during the pandemic, according to Lowry.

“That data should be put to use before it gets stale,” Lowry said.

Acumen Major Meetings includes pre-built integrations into the event industry’s leading systems, as well as pre-built dashboards with the key performance indicators (KPIs) used most frequently by event professionals.

“Insights from looking at data across all platforms can drive registrations through more targeted marketing while also creating a better event experience by using data to inform the event and content strategy,” Lowry said. “The ability to easily compare important metrics like days out analysis from one year to the next also helps event professionals develop tactics and strategies to drive event performance.”

Acumen Major Meetings aims to help event teams make strategic decisions using historical and near real-time event data. With a complete, consolidated view of registrations, exhibits, sponsorships and more, the platform is designed to make it easy for users to take event analysis and strategy to the next level by:

  • Increasing event attendance and engagement

  • Growing exhibit and sponsorship sales

  • Viewing registrations and sales weeks and days out

  • Leveraging abstract data

  • Uncovering insights from awards data

  • Utilizing snapshot views of the most important event KPIs
