Food&HotelAsia2016 Drew More Than 72,000 visitors

Food&HotelAsia2016 (FHA2016), organised by Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), was held April 12-15 at Singapore Expo. The 2018 edition will be held across two venues at Singapore Expo and Suntec Singapore making FHA Singapore’s largest trade show. AT the 2016 edition, nearly 3,200 exhibitors were featured at the four-day show and it drew over 72,000 attendees – including 45 percent from overseas.

The show featured exhibitors from a wide range of related sectors, including food ingredients and products, food service equipment, hotel amenities and software solutions. The Japan Pavilion, led by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Singapore, was a significant international presence featuring over 79 exhibitors, a 70 percent increase compared with the 2014 edition.

ProWine ASIA 2016, organised by SES and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, was held concurrently with FHA2016. A total of 257 wine producers and distributors from 30 countries exhibited at the show, attracting 8,285 participants.

SES has already announced that the concurrent shows will return from 24th to 27th April 2018, in Singapore Expo and Suntec Singapore. The show will expand by 20 percent, in terms of space.

The projects will debut in 2023 and beyond. JW Marriott This new, 15-story, 283-room hotel will open in the heart of the city’s downtown Arts District this year. The property features a 25,000-square-foot grand ballroom, as well as a spa, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center, and a rooftop pool deck and bar. InterContinental Dallas  Located in Cityplace Tower in Uptown, InterContinental Dallas will feature sweeping panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. Guests will enjoy spacious, high-end rooms and amenities, including more than 21,000 square feet of event space.   Hotel Swexan Hotel Swexan, a new, 22-story luxury property, is rising in Uptown’s Harwood District and will make its mark on the Dallas skyline. Opening this year, it is a sculptural building with cantilevered upper floors, as well as a 75-foot rooftop infinity-edge swimming pool and a hidden underground lounge.
