LED CHINA Will Hold First Show in Shanghai in September

August 25, 2015

The world's largest LED and LED lighting event will take place Sept. 16-19 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). The show previously was held in Guangzhou.

LED CHINA, together with the 11th LED LIGHTING CHINA and 13th SIGN CHINA, will feature 1,300 domestic and overseas brands over 120,000 square meters.

Riding on Shanghai's international status and the huge regional market it serves, the event expects to attract even more high caliber buyers from across the globe.

In 2014, China's LED industry maintained rapid growth with a 30.6 percent increase in total output that reached RMB 344.5 billion.

"The LED industry will enjoy many new opportunities under China's ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative," said David Tang, managing director of organizer UBM Trust.

He added, "The event's strategic move from its historical location in Guangzhou to Shanghai reflects the increased globalization of this industry and the emergence of China as a major player. Over the last 11 years, LED CHINA as a true business platform has fostered the internationalization and development of the industry. Whoever embraces the opportunities it brings under the new economic reality will assume a leading position in the industry."

The organizer has introduced a Buying Programme this year with select exhibitors who will offer VIP buyers exclusive discounts to provide a most direct one-to-one sourcing experience.

More than 1,000 featured products from 100 appointed exhibitors will participate in this programme including LED outdoor displays from ARTEMIS XT ZEUS and QSTECH, low-brightness high-grayscale SUM series LED Driver IC from SUMACRO TECHNOLOGIES, LED T8 Tube Light compatible with electronic ballast from UP-SHINE LIGHTING, P3.91 indoor full color and P8 outdoor full color LED display screen from RUILING OPTOELECTRONIC, P2.5 LED multi-media player from LEDHERO, and the latest technology P18 outdoor 360-degree LED display from JOLLYLED.

LED CHINA 2015 will take place concurrently with LED LIGHTING CHINA and SIGN CHINA, as well as Digital Signage Shanghai organized by UBM Sinoexpo. Together, these fairs provide the most complete sourcing platform for the industry.
