Messe Düsseldorf Will Launch New Wine Fair in Singapore

November 11, 2014

After the highly successful concept of the wine and spirits trade fairs ProWein in Düsseldorf, Germany, and ProWine China in Shanghai, Messe Düsseldorf will organize a new satellite event for Southeast Asia: ProWine Asia.

The first staging will take place April 12-16, 2016, at the Singapore Expo.

With ProWine Asia, Messe Düsseldorf will continue to cooperate with the international Allworld Group, which started with ProWine China several years ago.

ProWine Asia will be held in Singapore parallel with Food&HotelAsia (FHA) every two years.

The partners involved are Messe Düsseldorf Asia (a 100% subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf) and Singapore Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, a member of the Allworld Exhibitions Network.

FHA is Asia’s largest international food and hospitality trade show and in April 2014 attracted more than 45,000 trade visitors from the food, retail and hospitality sector.

The wine segment (previously known as “Wine&SpiritsAsia”) will be further developed and expanded with Messe Düsseldorf’s expertise.

As an internationally recognized hub for South-East Asia, Singapore also offers obvious location advantages.

This makes ProWine Asia a good platform for export-oriented producers of wine and spirits from throughout the world who are interested in entering the Southeast Asian market.

Just as ProWein and ProWine China, ProWine Asia 2016 will be a trade-only event.
