Nine HCEA Members Earn Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC)

The Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA) recently hosted its annual Healthcare Marketing Summit Jan. 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency in Boston.

 In addition to the one-day marketing summit, a half-day certificate program was offered in conjunction with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and St. Louis University (SLU). 

The certificate program is targeted towards those who are involved in planning and reporting transparency and spend as well as for those suppliers who provide services and products to the healthcare industry.  

The HMCC gives professionals a deeper knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and laws surrounding healthcare meetings.

HCEA members who received the HMCC certificate are; Rhiannon Andersen, Steelhead Productions; Sheree Budrecki, Bristol-Myers Squibb; Brent Depperschmidt, Capstone Equity Group; Jennifer Green, Bristol-Myers Squibb; Dawn Marie Raczka, BlueHive Strategic Environments; Lance Randall, Steelhead Productions; Lillian Schaff, AbbVie Inc; Don Schmid, Hospira Corporation; Cristine Watrous, Pfizer.

In addition to the HMCC course the HCEA 2015 Summit offered, a healthcare professionals panel and interactive sessions on topics including: bringing a drug to market, compassionate patient care, the latest on the Open Payments Program (Physician Payments Sunshine Act) as well as the HCEA State of the Industry Report.
