jwc GmbH of Germany has been selected through public tender to develop the Master Plan for the new venue in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center (SZICEC), by SZICEC Construction Headquarter. Located in Shenzhen Airport New Town, in the heart of the Pearl River Delta and Guangdong Free Trade Zone, the new exhibition venue is set to become the largest exhibition venue in the world. Korean venue and organiser, Coex, announced plans to launch its first premium lifestyle show in China, Stylish Life China to be held from 5th to 9th November 2016 at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention Center. South Korea’s MICE industry was significantly affected by MERS last year. According to the Busan Tourism Organization (BTO), in Busan, from May to July 2015, incentive events dropped from 54 to 26, seven international business events were cancelled and 200 domestic business events were cancelled or delayed. After the South Korean government issued an official all-clear declaration in October last year, Busan’s inbound business events posted a significant recovery. Mark Shashoua, who currently is CEO of London-based i2i Events Group, now will be stepping back into a familiar place, as CEO of ITE Group, also based in London. Shashoua was one of the original founders of ITE Group in the early 1990’s. Convention Data Services added a Lead Retrieval Dashboard to the CDS X·Press Reports event management tool. The new dashboard provides show management with a deeper understanding of exhibit hall activity and charts important data on exhibitor and attendee behavior.  The product, which analyzes data collected from scans on all CDS lead retrieval devices, provides a unique display of the aggregated data.
