Automechanika Shanghai, organised by international exhibition organiser, Messe Frankfurt, which claims to be Asia’s largest trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services, has just announced a 27% increase in the exhibition space to 280,000 m2 at a new venue, National Exhibition and Convention Center, in Shanghai. The next edition will run from 2nd to 5th December 2015.

The trade fair is anticipating an 8% increase in exhibitors – to a total of approximately 5,300 exhibitors as well as a 12% increase in visitors – to over 100,000. In addition to the support of global automotive brands, Automechanika also gets supports from local automotive parts suppliers in second tier provinces, including Guangxi, Hebei, Hubei, Jiangxi and Sichuan.

Jason Cao, chairman of the board of management, Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) said, “Automechanika Shanghai has built its reputation as the acclaimed ‘must-attend’ industry event for information exchange, marketing, trading and education, serving the scope of the automotive industry. Due to the immense continued growth of the show, the new locale will not only bring a broadened opportunity for sourcing products, but also fresh ideas and action plans.”
