CHINAPLAS 2018 Attracts 180,000+ Visitors

Chinaplas 2018, the leading international trade show serving the plastics and rubber industry, concluded its recent edition in Shanghai in late April. The organiser reports that this year’s edition attracted nearly 181,000 professional trade visitors. That figure represents an increase of 22% over the previous edition held in Shanghai in 2016.

According to the organiser, Adsale Exhibition Services, 47,900 visitors were international – coming from over 150 different countries. Running from 24th to 27th April and held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), the four-day show covered an impressive 340,000 m2, showcasing the latest products and innovative technologies in the plastics and rubber industries exhibited by almost 4,000 exhibitors.

Ada Leung, General Manager of Adsale, stated, “I have never seen such a huge number of visitors before. Most of our exhibitors were satisfied with the result… In moving to NECC, CHINAPLAS this year marked a new milestone in her history… Visitors are satisfied with the theme zone arrangement, as they can more easily find clusters of exhibits that address their specific interests.”

Chinaplas is an annual event rotates between Shanghai and Guangzhou. The next edition of Chinaplas will be held in Guangzhou running from 21st to 24th May 2019.
