Co-located Shanghai Industrial Trade Shows Span 134,000 sqm

Co-located industrial events, PTC Asia, ComVac Asia and CeMAT Asia were recently held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 27th 30th October 2014. In total, Hannover Milano Fairs’ four-day trade shows covered some 134,000 m2 of gross exhibition space.

Themed “Smart Manufacturing, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection”, this year’s Power Transmission and Control (PTC Asia) featured 1,208 exhibitors spread over 80,500 m2 of gross exhibition space. Major international exhibitors included those from Germany, Italy, Turkey, South Korea and Taiwan. According to the organisers, 25% of exhibitors were newcomers this year.

Logistic industry event, CeMAT Asia, gathered 490 exhibitors over 40,000 m2 of exhibition space. A new product zone showcasing logistic robots was established this year. Additionally, ComVac Asia spanned 13,500 m2 and attracted 170 exhibitors from the compressed-air and vacuum technology industry. Overseas exhibitors included those from Sweden, Germany, Italy, the U.S., Canada, South Korea and Taiwan. According to organisers, the size of ComVac Asia grew 20% over 2013.

The projects will debut in 2023 and beyond. JW Marriott This new, 15-story, 283-room hotel will open in the heart of the city’s downtown Arts District this year. The property features a 25,000-square-foot grand ballroom, as well as a spa, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center, and a rooftop pool deck and bar. InterContinental Dallas  Located in Cityplace Tower in Uptown, InterContinental Dallas will feature sweeping panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. Guests will enjoy spacious, high-end rooms and amenities, including more than 21,000 square feet of event space.   Hotel Swexan Hotel Swexan, a new, 22-story luxury property, is rising in Uptown’s Harwood District and will make its mark on the Dallas skyline. Opening this year, it is a sculptural building with cantilevered upper floors, as well as a 75-foot rooftop infinity-edge swimming pool and a hidden underground lounge.
