Diversified Communications HK Appoints New Managing Director

September 22, 2015

Diversified Communications promoted Stuart Bailey to managing director of Diversified Communications Hong Kong LLC from his current position of general manager.

Stuart Bailey joined Diversified through an acquisition in April 2009. At that time, the company only had one event – Restaurant & Bar HK, with the Retail Asia Expo launching in late 2009.

Today, Diversified Communications HK organizes five trade exhibitions and three conferences, including Natural & Organic Products Asia, Learning & Teaching Expo and HR Summit & Expo Hong Kong.

Expansion has come through a combination of organic growth, as well as geo-cloned event launches which have seen Diversified branded events successfully launched in Hong Kong.

Most recently, the HR Summit (based in Singapore) will make its Hong Kong debut in May 2016. Diversified acquired HR Summit last year.

Matthew Pearce, International Director of Diversified Communications, said, “Stuart has played a big part in helping to achieve the success we have enjoyed in Hong Kong.”

Pearce added, “He brings a wealth of experience in organising trade shows along with an enthusiasm for finding new opportunities for Diversified to launch, acquire or clone events, his promotion is richly deserved.”
