Expansion Plans at SMX Davao

March 7, 2017

The largest privately-owned convention centre in southern Philippines, SMX Convention Center Davao, plans to expand its facilities.

The new building will start construction later this year and will connect with the existing SMX Davao facility. The capacity of the new building has not yet been confirmed, but management claims that it will be expanded to accommodate up to 7,500 pax.

After the completion of the new facilities, the venue will aim to host larger and more international events. The new facilities are expected to be completed in late 2018 or early 2019.
