Global Experience Specialists, Experient Both Score Multi-show Contracts

February 6, 2013

Global Experience Specialists was awarded a two-year contract for UBM Live’s 30-show European portfolio, and Experient scored a three-year, nine-show per year contract with the National Retail Federation.

The GES contract includes CPhI Worldwide (collocated with ICSE, PMEC, Innopack), Protection & Management Series (including IFSEC, Facilities Show, Safety & Health Expo and Firex), MEDTEC Europe, Ecobuild and Fi Europe, to name a few.

The Experient contract includes event registration, lead retrieval and CEU management services for shows such as NRF’s Retail’s BIG Show, Shop.org’s Annual Summit and NRF’s Loss Prevention Conference & EXPO, among others.

The GES agreement began in January 2013 and covers six countries and 17 venues. GES will provide a variety of services, including the delivery of shell scheme, electrical, furniture and carpet.

"UBM Live events receive a consistent level of quality services from GES across Europe,” said Simon Foster, CEO of UBM Live.

He added, “GES has a proven track record in servicing UBM Live shows, and our exhibitors, to a very high level with its innovative exhibitor support programs. We are pleased to partner with GES as they drive service with an ethos of continuous improvement."

As part of the new contract, GES will service CPhI Worldwide/ICSE/P-MEC Europe/InnoPack shows, which are scheduled Oct. 22-24 at Messe Frankfurt in Germany and which regularly attract 29,000 attendees from 133 countries and 2,200 exhibitors.

Some of the U.S.-based UBM Live shows GES currently services include the Game Developers Conference, Design West, InformexUSA, 4G World and Design East.

“We have focused our attention on making exhibitors’ journey as easy as possible by providing innovative products and services,” said GES Executive Vice President of International Jason Popp.

He added, “We look forward to working in partnership with UBM Live to ensure exhibitors get the best attention and service no matter where they exhibit in the world.”

Some of the other NRF events that will be a part of the Experient contract include ARTS User Group events, the HR Summit and LP Executive Summit, Shop.org’s Merchandising Workshop, NRFtech: IT Leadership Summit and the NRF Global Supply Chain Summit.

“Experient’s reputation as a leader in the tradeshow arena combined with their ability to provide technologically advanced products and services spoke volumes to us during the selection process,” said NRF Senior Vice President of Conferences Susan Newman.

She added, “All of us at NRF are thrilled about this partnership and look forward to mutual success for years to come.”
