The HKCEC Named Asia's Best Venue in 2012

December 10, 2012

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has been named ‘Asia’s Best Convention and Exhibition Centre’ by the annual CEI Asia industry survey and awards, as voted by readers of the MICE publication. This is the tenth time HKCEC has won the accolade which first began in 2001.

Martin Donovan, editor of CEI Asia, said, “Readers of CEI Asia have yet again selected the HKCEC as the pride of Asia when it comes to venues. Its triumph over the years reflects not only the HKCEC’s iconic stature as a Hong Kong landmark, but it is also testimony to the staff and management who ensure a smooth operation for each exhibition, convention and other events whether be they large or small.”

Monica Lee-Müller, Managing Director of HKCEC’s Management, HML, added, “On behalf of HML’s management, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to each of the 930 staff members for their total dedication and professionalism, exceptional levels of enthusiasm, responsiveness and experience to serve event organisers and users from around the world.”
