Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre will host both IDEM Singapore 2016 and 2018, the 9th and 10th editions of the leading dental trade and scientific conference in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Billed as the “must-attend" event for dental practitioners and professionals in Asia-Pacific, IDEM Singapore recently was held at Suntec Singapore April 4-6 for its 8th edition.

The conference featured the latest innovations in clinical dentistry, dental technology and patient care across every segment of the dental market and provided great insights into the latest technology and innovations in dental solutions and services.

“As dental markets in the region continue to develop and reach out to embrace the globalisation of dentistry and the opportunities it presents, IDEM Singapore will continue to play a strategic role for its exhibitors in facilitating that development and outreach,” said Michael Dreyer, Asia Pacific vice president, Koelnmesse.

He added, “We will continue to strengthen IDEM Singapore’s position as the preferred platform for companies looking to launch new dental solutions into Asia, by continuing to bring in the key buyers from the region. We hope that IDEM Singapore will grow to become not only a gateway to Asian markets but also a portal to the rest of the world.”

IDEM Singapore 2014 increased its floor space by 30 percent to more than 16,000 square meters (172,000 square feet) and featured pavilions from 11 countries. A 20 percent increase in exhibitor numbers saw more than 500 exhibitors from 38 countries participate.

IDEM Singapore 2014 welcomed 7,842 attendees from 61 countries during the three and a half days of the conference and trade fair.

“We are delighted to renew our long-standing relationship with the No. 1 dental event in the Asia-Pacific region. We take great pride in playing our part in the growing success of this specialized dental trade fair and contribute to its continuous progress over the coming years,” said Arun Madhok, CEO of Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

He added, “It is a great vote of confidence to be selected as the venue of choice for IDEM Singapore.”
