Hanley Wood Exhibitions will partner with the Association of Professional Landscape Designers to collocate the APLD International Landscape Design Conference with the 2014 International Pool I Spa I Patio Expo in Orlando.

“This strategic partnership brings a great opportunity to both groups of show attendees,” said Tracy Garcia, CEM, director of the PSP Expo. “APLD brings a valuable perspective to the industry and we are pleased to have their event co-locating with us in 2014.”

The Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) is an international organization to advance the profession of landscape design and to promote the recognition of landscape designers as qualified and dedicated professionals.

The International Landscape Design Conference is APLD’s annual event where they provide landscape design professionals education and networking opportunities.  At the 2013 APLD Conference, APLD partnered with Genesis 3, show endorser for the PSP expo, to present water shape design and construction education at their event.  This partnership created a natural dynamic for the collocation event at the 2014 PSP expo in Orlando.

Taking place Nov. 5-7 in the North Hall of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, the PSP expo will offer pool/spa builders, retailers, service companies, designers and landscape architects from both residential and commercial segments, a comprehensive product preview and educational conference covering the entire backyard living marketplace.

APLD and their members will produce a 1,000 square foot designer landscape pavilion at the show.  In addition, attendees of both events will be able to attend a keynote presentation, provided by APLD, by Ray Jungles, an American landscape architect whose private garden and resort hotel landscape designs have been honored with more than 35 design awards.

APLD conference attendees will have the opportunity to see the PSP expo’s 150,000 square feet of backyard living exhibits on the showfloor.

“APLD is pleased to partner with the PSP Expo this year. We believe this relationship will bring a new and exciting dimension to our conference and we are anxious to invite our members to attend the Expo,” said Denise Calabrese, executive director, APLD.
