Reed China to Expand Student Scholarship Programme

January 7, 2013

Reed Exhibitions Greater China has announced its plans to expand its scholarship programme for young Chinese students who study Event Management across mainland China. The company intends to expand the programme through its partnership with the National Society of Event Management Educators to span across 50 leading universities across the country.

Reed first launched its scholarship programme in 2007 through the Beijing International Studies University (BISU) with the aim to attract young talent to the industry. The scholarship will offer students financial assistance and job training during their studies along with an opportunity to work with the company after their graduation.

Professor Liu Dake, Chairman of the National Society of Event Management Educators, commented, “Reed Exhibitions China is the first company who launched such an initiative and we are pleased with the results. With our joint effort, the scholarship students are able to take part in a variety of trainings and create networks that benefit both to career and personal development. We appreciate Reed’s commitment to this project.”
