Reed Exhibitions Highlights Expansion Opportunities

U.K.-based Reed Exhibitions has reiterated the international expansion opportunities in Indonesia and Brazil following the release of parent group Reed Elsevier’s first half financial results.

In Asia in particular, Reed’s main expansion activities this year includes the formation of a partnership with India-based event management company Manch Communications, a joint venture in China to launch Reed Hongda Exhibitions, and a second joint venture in Indonesia to establish Reed Panorama Exhibitions.

Mike Rusbridge, CEO of Reed Exhibitions, said, “Beyond the BRIC economies, Indonesia ranks high in the business agenda of multiple industries around the world. Our customers are telling us to bring them to Indonesia and help them find new business. We believe this is the right time to be there.”
