Tarsus Group, Dyandra Promosindo Partner on Gift, Housewares Show in Indonesia

August 19, 2013

U.K.-based Tarsus Group, along with Indonesia-based exhibition organizer Dyandra Promosindo, is set to debut Zuchex Indonesia 2014, a housewares and gift show that will be held in Jakarta.

The show will be jointly organized by Life Media, part of Tarsus, who are the organisers of Istanbul-based housewares and gift shows Zuchex and Ideal Homex.

“With the boom in home ownership in Indonesia and consumer spending accounting for 57 percent of GDP, this show presents a fantastic opportunity for the housewares industry,” show organizers said.

In fact, they added, American giant Tupperware had said that Indonesia is its No. 1 market.

“With a population of 251 million and the fastest growing economy in the G20 after China, Indonesia offers a tremendous opportunity for the House Ware sector,” show organizers said. “The culture of family gatherings and entertaining at home and growing middle class of 120 million provides a huge potential market for sales.”

The show will take place Nov. 13-15 at the Jakarta Convention Center, which is located in the heart of the city, home to a populationofmore than28 million people.

The show will not only attract to Indonesian visitors, but also the marketing campaign is designed to deliver quality buyers from across Southeast Asia (ASEAN), according to show organizers.

The exhibitors will be a mix of Indonesian and International suppliers, comprised of Electrical Appliances, steel, kitchen appliances, Glassware, Porcelain, Plastics, Importers, Decorative Products, Home Textile, Table wares, Bathroom Appliances, Candles, Lighting and Chandeliers, accessories, giftware and many more.

This three-day show is expected to attract participation of 200 exhibitors and be attended by more than 3,000 buyers.

Tarsus also announced last year its partnership with Dyandra Promosindo - organizer of the Indonesian Motor Show and several other events in Indonesia – in the launch of the inaugural AAITF Jakarta in March 2014.
