Pri-Med, the leading provider of professional medical education to a community of more than 260,000 clinicians, named Melinda Lindquist as director of continuing medical education (CME) and accreditation for pmiCME. pmiCME is the accreditation division of DBC Pri-Med, LLC.

In her new role, Lindquist will help lead Pri-Med’s collaborations with medical schools and associations nationwide to build CME curriculums that are tailored specifically to improve patient outcomes.

“We are thrilled to welcome Melinda to our team as we continue to build out the next phase of Pri-Med,” said Marc Mosier, MD, chief medical officer of Pri-Med.

He added, “She brings a wealth of experience in CME, as well as an invaluable set of clinical and business skills to the table, which are important to meet the complicated requirements of developing high quality medical education programs, designed to meet the needs of today’s practicing clinician.”

Lindquist has worked in medical education, communications and business strategy for over 30 years. She comes to Pri-Med directly from the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, where she served as a consultant in education strategy.

Her prior experience includes 15 years as president of InforMEDical Communications, an accredited provider of live and enduring innovative medical education for specialty physicians in oncology and urology, and twelve years in the biopharmaceutical industry.

As director of CME and Accreditation, Lindquist will oversee curriculum development for Pri-Med and outcomes assessment programs.  She also will oversee pmiCME compliance and accreditation by ACCME, AANP and ACPE.

“I am excited to join DBC Pri-Med, an organization with a strong reputation for providing high quality, accessible CME designed to close gaps in care.” Lindquist said.

She added, “I look forward to working closely with medical schools and associations nationwide to help develop content for our EHR users and the more than 260,000 clinicians who rely on Pri-Med for CME, and shape the future of learning."
