MyCEB to Launch Mobile App for Conferences

In a bid to attract more international conferences, the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) will launch a mobile application to serve conferences with more than 500 international participants. The mobile app comprises of two components: a conference application and a conference delegation welcome kit.

According to MyCEB, the conference application will contain the most up-to-date conference information and features that allow delegates to vote and respond to surveys on their smartphones. The welcome kit section will include information on places of interest, food and beverage, maps, and transportation.

MyCEB will launch the app in May beginning in Kuala Lumpur, with other states including Sarawak, Sabah and Penang set to receive the service at a later time.
