Reed Exhibitions to Expand Oceanology International into China

October 8, 2012

Shanghai, 3rd October: Reed Exhibitions has announced the launch of the inaugural Oceanology International China at the INTEX Shanghai next year. The show will be held from 3rd to 5th September 2013. The original London-based Oceanology International (OI) is reportedly the world’s largest exhibition for marine science and science technology, and is held biennially at London’s ExCeL Centre.

Oceanology International China 2013 is endorsed by the Chinese Society of Oceanography Ocean Observation Technology Branch (CSO Ocean Observation Technology Branch), with attendees expected to include range of industry players, academia and government representatives.

James Coleman, exhibition director of Reed Exhibitions, commented, “We are developing Oceanology International China 2013 with government and industry associations. China’s rapidly growing offshore energy and marine industry are reason enough to hold this new event and companies are already reserving their space in order to capitalise on this growth.”
