Secutech Vietnam Will Open in August with 4,500 Square Meters of Exhibition Space

August 11, 2015

The eighth edition of Secutech Vietnam will open its doors Aug. 18-20 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Organized by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, the annual show is widely-renowned as the country’s leading trade fair for the security, fire and safety industry.

The three-day event will kick off with the participation of 110 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, occupying 4,500 square meters of exhibition space.

Registered brands include Avigilon, Bao Toan, DH, Flir, Optex, Dahua, Hikvision, HiMaxTruongxua, HIP, Le Phat, Lilin, Nha An Toan, Panasonic, Phuc Bing, Trung Loi and UL. The organiser is expected to welcome 5,000 professionals coming from all over Asia for sourcing products and seizing opportunities to exchange market updates.

Commenting on Vietnam’s security market, Regina Tsai, deputy general manager for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, said: “The riots in Vietnam last year have caused damages and closure of numerous factories, leading to temporary economic consequences in the country. The incident has been a wake-up call for Vietnam. People are re-evaluating security and safety issues and seeking a comprehensive protection plan for personnel, assets and facilities.”

He added, “The surge in demand for better security measures creates ample opportunities, particularly for international manufacturers and suppliers, to tap into this emerging market by offering their newest products, solutions and technologies. Secutech Vietnam is exactly the perfect platform where they can connect and interact with industry players from the local field.”

To cope with the escalating demand on industrial safety measures, the show is launching the Industrial Safety Management Zone, where a “SECU Factory” Demo is erected to illustrate the application of the 4Ps concept – Protection, Prevention, Production and Performance.

Alongside the Demo session, a “SECU Factory” Seminar will take place on the opening day of the show. It consists of four sessions with each focusing on one of the 4Ps, featuring prestigious speakers to analyse case studies and share industry updates on aspects of access control, fire & safety and surveillance.

Taiwan is ranked the fourth largest Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Vietnam and is one of the major trade partners of Vietnam. The significance of the relationship is reflected at Secutech Vietnam, where three Taiwan Pavilions, Taiwan Excellence Fire & Safety Product Pavilion, MIT (Made in Taiwan) Access Control Pavilion and Taiwan Surveillance Pavilion are introduced.

“Thanks to the strong line-up of Taiwan chambers in Vietnam, these pavilions gather the island’s most distinguished brands to offer the Vietnamese market leading products and technologies across the complete supply chain,” Tsai said.

Besides product displays, Global Digital Security Forum (GDSF) Vietnam will take place Aug. 18, the first day of the show, highlighting market trends and potential solutions to the major challenges Vietnam is currently facing.

Regarded as one of the biggest attractions at the fair, the one-day forum covers cutting-edge technologies in digital surveillance, access control and other security aspects, which are applicable for both public sectors and domestic use. Attendees will be able to engage in discussion with industry experts and representatives from leading brands and gain insights into the industry trends and development.

With 11 events, Messe Frankfurt is one of the world’s leading organisers of fairs and congresses for the expanding international field of civil security.

These platforms provide optimum opportunities for gaining a foothold in dynamic growth markets all over the world. Presently Messe Frankfurt organises events in Germany, Asia, the Middle East, Russia, South America and East Africa.
