SNIEC Signs New Contracts with Major Organisers

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) announced a series of long-term contract has recently been secured with major exhibition organisers to continue to host their events at the venue. The events to continue at SNIEC include those organised by UBM Asia, Reed Exhibitions Greater China, as well as shareholder members Deutsche Messe, Messe Düsseldorf and Messe München.

Since the end of 2013, new contracts were signed for shows including Furniture China, CPHI, ICSE & BioPh China, China CNC Machine Tool Fair, Tube China, Wire China, All in Print, China Daily-use Articles Trade Fair, ALUMINIUM CHINA, SNEC International Solar and PV Conference & Exhibition, Hotelex Shanghai, Appliance World Expo, SEMICON China, CHINACOAT, China Int’l Sewing Machinery & Accessories Show (CISMA), and China Refrigeration.

Jimé Essink, president & CEO of UBM Asia, was quoted saying, “SNIEC proves that they are ready for the future. Their performance and support is on top level in the industry… Most importantly they can guarantee to give us same place and time slots, service and a stable environment for the next five to ten years.”

According to SNIEC, the venue hosted 100 shows with 5,830,000 m2 of space sold in 2013.
