Messe Frankfurt's SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou Books Will Feature 350 Companies

SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou, a business platform for industrial automation solutions, will feature more than 350 leading companies from 15 countries and regions when it opens March 7-9 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

The show is sponsored by the China Foreign Trade Centre and Germany-based Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.

In addition, SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou is organized by the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corporation, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, Guangzhou Overseas Trade Fairs Ltd and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

The honorary sponsors are the Guangdong Automation Association and Guangzhou Automation Association. 

Germany-based Siemens, just one of the high-profile exhibitors, will be exhibiting for a third year and will introduce their latest IPC products and next generation Distributed IO products at the fair.

Other key players joining the show include Phoenix Contact, Pepperl + Fuchs and Leuze which will present industrial automation technology, including control systems, embedded systems, industrial measurement systems and PLCs.

Lenze, Mecano, Pilz, Rittal and Weidmueller will introduce electrical systems such as cables, drive systems, inverters, servos and switches.

The 2012 show will feature pavilions organized by Asian and European industry associations:

• TAIROA Pavilion –the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association
• TEEMA Pavilion – the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association.
• AMA Pavilion –the German-based AMA Association for Sensor Technology

The AMA Association for Sensor Technology will also organize the Sensors – Application in Automation Seminar, and co-organize the Automotive Sensors Seminar with Vogel Media.

Daniel Jones, a board member of the U.S.-based Motion Control Association will lead the Motion Controls Seminar, and Dr. Reinhard Hueppe of ZVEI and Dr. Du Pinsheng from Phoenix Contact will co-organize the From Sensors to Systems Seminar.

RFID locks were installed on all meeting room doors, and over 200 motion detection cameras have been placed throughout the space. Featuring white-washed walls and ceilings adorned with bold floral patterns in cerulean and coral tones, the space is complemented by warm walnut accent walls. In addition to the redesign of all pre-function spaces, meeting rooms and ballrooms, Mandalay Bay's 1 million square feet of exhibit space has undergone a rejuvenation, including new paint, covered pillars and relocated strobe lights.
