Emerald Expositions Hires Three New Executive Vice Presidents

July 25, 2019

Emerald Expositions has hired three new members for its senior management team as part of an effort to reorganize the business into more aligned portfolios. This news comes about seven months following the announcement that Informa would buy UBM for $5.5 billion. Emerald is led by Sally Shankland, who assumed her new role as CEO on June 1, as TSNN previously reported.

The new hires are expected to begin employment in August or early September. They include:

  • Lori Silva, who was previously managing director for Informa’s Advanced Manufacturing Group, is now executive vice president of retail, where she will oversee numerous brands and events. She has more than 30 years of experience in the events industry.
  • Jessica Blue (pictured), who was most recently senior vice president of Informa’s Global Licensing Group, is now executive vice president of Emerald Connect, overseeing a diverse portfolio of brands. She has been in the industry for two decades.
  • Amy Sklar, who previously was group sales vice president for Informa’s Advanced Manufacturing Communities, is now executive vice president of customer solutions. She has 20 years of experience in sales and management of events and media businesses.
