ISPO SHANGHAI 2016 Attracts 400-plus Exhibitors

The 2nd edition of ISPO SHANGHAI was held July 6-8 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The three-day show attracted a total of 470 exhibitors covering a wide range of categories including sports, outdoor activity items, paddling & water sports, etc. The exhibition was segmented into key categories including action, sportstyle, fitness, running, functional textiles, outdoor, and paddling & water sports.

Organised by Messe München, the show attracted nearly 14,600 visitors at the event. The number of exhibitors also increased by 32% compared with ISPO SHANGHAI in 2015. Occupying over 30,000 m2, the show featured a variety of programs, seminars, forums, workshops and special events such as kayaking at an indoor pool within the exhibition area.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München stated, “Over the next 20 years, China will develop to become the world’s largest sports and fitness market. Companies who intend to continue doing successful business in the future must become active here and now and make huge investments”.

The next ISPO SHANGHAI will be held from 6th to 8th July 2017.
