The Canadian Supreme is a prestigious and exciting major horse event held annually at Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta. Events during the weekend include cutting, reining, and cow horse classes for the best horses and competitors in Western Canada and Northwestern United States. The Western Horse Sale, held on Friday night, has become a feature sale for the horse industry. It has a reputation for offering quality horses and draws a large crowd. Saturday night’s “Cinch Night at the Supreme” features a special opening ceremony and finals for 4 exciting premier classes. Attendance exceeds 1,500 on Saturday night alone. 2015 will be the 39th year for the Canadian Supreme and we expect to pay out approximately $400,000 to the competitors of the show. During the festivities we also hold a trade fair from October 1st – 3rd in the Prairie Pavilion. Hours are listed below. Admission to the show and trade fair is free.
