Labelexpo Asia and PEIAC Sign Exclusive Partnership

May 9, 2017

Tarsus Group, the organizer of Labelexpo Asia, has strengthened its working partnership with the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC).

The agreement, signed during China Print on May 9, sees China’s leading print industry trade body working with the show on its next two editions to be held in late 2017 and 2019.

The agreement secures the long-term future and continued growth of Labelexpo Asia by bringing together the intrinsic market knowledge, expertise and resources of the Labelexpo Global Series and PEIAC to deliver a world-class professional trade fair.

Asia’s largest, dedicated event for the label and package printing industry, Labelexpo Asia will return Dec. 5-8 to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Strong growth in the label printing industry means 2017’s show is already on track to being 15 percent bigger than 2015’s edition with over 350 exhibitors and over 24,000 visitors expected to attend.

Targeted at all label and packaging printers, designers, brand owners and industry suppliers, Labelexpo Asia represents the complete supply chain by showcasing the very latest presses, ancillaries, substrates, inks and smart and intelligent label and packaging innovations.

James Samuel, events portfolio director, Labelexpo Global Series, said: “This is an extremely important alliance and we are delighted to be the only label industry event to be endorsed by PEIAC. By working more closely together, the partnership will be very instrumental in helping drive new visitors to the show including offset converters looking to diversify into the lucrative label printing sector. Adding further value and credibility to the Labelexpo Asia experience, our partnership seeks to make the Chinese label and package printing industry better, with an ongoing focus on the delivery of superior working practices and improved standards. We look forward to continuing this over the next two shows.”

Jean Lee, vice chairman of the label printing sub-association of PEIAC, comments: “In 2017, PEIAC hit two milestones in the label printing industry. As a member of The World Label Association (L9), PEIAC organized the Beijing Summit & Industry Forum of Label Printing for the very first time in China and received overwhelmingly positive reviews and feedback from the industry. PEIAC has also confirmed its partnership with Labelexpo Asia and we look forward to this win-win cooperation and helping each other to achieve a higher level of influence on the industry.”
