The second edition of Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum, a leading Taiwanese agricultural international exhibition, concluded on 28th July 2018 at the Taipei World Trade Center. Co-located with Aquaculture Taiwan and Livestock Taiwan, the three shows attracted more than 25,000 visits from 34 countries during the three days.

Some 210 exhibitors from 19 countries occupied 400 booths, showcasing innovative, eco-friendly and sustainable technologies and agrarian products. According to the organiser, UBM Asia’s Taiwanese subsidiary, the conferences held during the exhibition attracted about 4,000 participants.

Sabine Liu, General Manager of UBM Taiwan, commented, “The manpower of agricultural industries is steeply decreasing, but the demand for food is dramatically rising. We believe innovative technologies and equipment will bring the solutions for food crisis, food safety and animal diseases.”

The next edition of Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum will return to Taipei World Trade Center, taking place in the end of October 2019. Exhibitors at the close of this year’s show have already booked more than 1,500 m2.
