3 Useful Resources for Tech & Digital Media News

July 6, 2013

Today, keeping up with the rapid and constantly evolving technology around us can be so challenging that even the savviest of tech users often find themselves saying ‘Whoa! When did that happen?’

While it’s difficult for anyone to stay completely up-to-date on all the changes continually, here are three great resources for tuning into of the latest news and developments in the world of technology, social media and consumer electronics.

Mashable is my favorite website for reading informed opinions from industry experts on the breaking news in the social media technology sphere. This site also provides in-depth reports on the latest web and mobile development. With 20 million monthly unique visitors, Mashable is one of the world’s leading online tech news communities.

TechCrunch is excellent for learning about promising startups, new Internet products, and breaking tech news. Popular channels on the site include gadgets, gaming and gadgets. TechCrunch and its network of websites reach over 12 million unique visitors and draw more than 37 million page views per month.

Cnet is a popular resource where tech geeks converge to share and try out new apps and games. I find this site most useful for reading reviews of new software that one can download and try out as well as for learning about emerging technologies. Cnet is definitely worth checking out and revisiting on a periodic basis if you enjoy testing out new apps and devices.

I hope you will also find these resources useful for making sense of the confusing array of technology all around us.
