AMC’s LIGHTFAIR International typically rotates annually between the West and East, with its long-time Western home being Las Vegas, but in 2016, the show decided to change things up a bit and head to San Diego instead. The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) boards of directors recently signed a letter of intent to launch a new combined event in the Fall of 2014. The 79th Annual UFI Congress wrapped up Nov. 8 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi with a record number of 475 attendees from 55 countries who gathered to pinpoint where there were areas of growth in the exhibition industry.
