Bangkok-Based IMPACT Exhibition Venue Refreshes Brand

February 26, 2013

Bangkok’s IMPACT exhibition venue decide to spice its image up some by refreshing its brand with a new corporate logo to better reflect its ranking among the top venues in Asia.

IMPACT has been focusing on its mission to be among the top five venues in Asia,” said Paul Kanjanapas, managing director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd.

He added, “Rebranding our image is part of the strategy to project our key attributes internationally by highlighting IMPACT as the Proficient Partner, Passionate Professional, Progressive Platform and Personalized Solution.”

Along with revitalizing its brand, IMPACT has been focusing on business development by improving its services and state-of-the-art facilities to enhance awareness in the international market.

Currently, the venue offers the largest exhibition space in Thailand, with more than 140,000 square meters of indoor space.

It serves more than 800 events a year including trade and consumer exhibitions and attracts 15 million visitors annually.

Top events include the 2012 Rotary International Convention, Thailand International Motor Expo, Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, THAIFEX-World of Food Asia, Herbalife Extravaganza, Amway Expo, ITU Telecom Asia and AIDF Asia-Pacific.

“As a customer-led venue, we will continue to deliver high value to our partners and customers through mutual trust, cooperation, strategic partnerships, and customized and turn-key solutions through our ‘Partnership for Success’ corporate culture,” Paul said.

He added, “Our new logo provides the synergy that reflects our knowledge, our skills, our people and our best services at international standards to ensure success and satisfaction for all our customers.”

In recent years, IMPACT has invested more than 800 million Baht to add 30 new meeting rooms, bringing the total number to 52. In addition, two new Banquet Halls have been added with 5,710sqm to serve a variety of functions in addition to the 3,500sqm Royal Jubilee Ballroom and 2,000sqm Grand Diamond Ballroom.

Within the next two years, additional facilities and support services to be completed include the construction of a new hotel, Ibis, which will add 600 rooms to the existing 380 ultra-modern rooms at the Novotel Bangkok IMPACT; construction of a new 2,000-seat Auditorium; renovation of IMPACT Arena with additional retail shops; and the renovation of the 8 multi-purpose halls at IMPACT Exhibition Center.

“IMPACT is the country’s first MICE venue to be certified with an international standard,” Paul said.

He added, “It successfully attained ISO22000 for Food Safety Management System; ISO50001 for Energy Management System; and TIS22300 for MICE Security Management System. These achievements enhance IMPACT’s confidence and creates trust with business partners.”

This year, IMPACT expects to generate 2 billion Baht in revenue, or 10-percent growth, compared with last year.
