Deutsche Messe to Launch CeMAT Australia

May 17, 2014

: Deutsche Messe recently announced the launch of CeMAT Australia next year at the Sydney Olympic Park. The international intralogistics show will be held concurrently with the annual ICT trade show, CeBIT Australia, from 5th to 7th May 2015.

Exhibiting companies at CeMAT Australia will showcase products and services covering the complete logistics value chain. CeMAT Australia will also feature supporting programmes including discussions about the quality of roadways, airports, harbours, and railways.

Dr. Andreas Gruchow, member of the managing board of Deutsche Messe AG, said, “There are lots of synergies between these two fairs, because global intralogistics processes can only be controlled with the proper software. CeMAT AUSTRALIA and CeBIT AUSTRALIA complement each other perfectly and will benefit equally from the big interest in IT.”

The 2013 edition of CeBIT Australia reportedly hosted more than 500 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors.
