The organizers of Building Solar China – Conference and Exhibition, Messe Frankfurt and WIP, organizer of international solar conferences and exhibitions, have changed the date and location for the 2014 show.
The show will be held Sept. 4 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Originally scheduled for June in Guangzhou, the event will be relocated to accommodate market trends within the building and solar technology sectors in China.

NASDAQ-listed Global Sources released its first quarter results for the period ended March 31. Revenues were $34 million, up 10 percent, compared with $31 million recorded in the same quarter last year. However, IFRS net income in the period dropped from $5.6 million last year to $145,000 in the quarter.
The Hong Kong-based company generated revenues of $21.3 million from its online business – 62 percent of total revenues. That is a drop of 15 percent from the $25.0 million recorded last year.

The HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, billed as the largest fair of its kind in the world, and the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair closed their four-day shows at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo, respectively, with more than 65,000 total buyers.
The buyers came from 151 countries and regions, with overseas buyers up by six percent, compared with last year.
Buyers from Asia, including the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, India and Indonesia, recorded double-digit percentage growth.

The Association of Korean Exhibition Industry (AKEI) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions has sold out the Asian Attractions Expo 2014 that spans more than 91,439 net square feet (8,500 net square meters), setting a new record for exhibit space at the event.

More than 18,000 buyers from 112 countries and regions took part in the 6th HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition).
The four-day exhibition, held April 6-9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, drew nearly 1,100 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, a new exhibitor record for the fair.
