Global Sources opened its Gifts & Home show on 18th October at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) in Hong Kong. The show runs until 21st October. It features primarily creative gifts, premiums and home products from Global Sources’ “Verified Suppliers” from across Asia – with the majority from China. SMG has been busy helping the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland amp up its sustainability goals by partnering with show organizers and exhibitors to cut back on event waste while giving back to the local community. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open trade fairs addressing the electronics and lighting industries later this month. According to media reports, Singapore secured several large-scale events in the first half of 2017 ranging from world congresses to regional exhibitions to conferences.
