The Korean MICE industry is increasingly optimistic that the MERS outbreak is now under control. There have been no new cases reported in Korea for almost three weeks. Automechanika Shanghai, organised by international exhibition organiser, Messe Frankfurt, which claims to be Asia’s largest trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services, has just announced a 27% increase in the exhibition space to 280,000 m2 at a new venue, National Exhibition and Convention Center, in Shanghai. The next edition will run from 2nd to 5th December 2015. As an offshoot of WasteExpo, a solid waste, recycling and organics industry event, Penton will launch a two-day event - the Waste360 Recycling Summit.
