Last week, the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) signed an MoU with Singapore’s SACEOS agreeing to cooperate to improve opportunities for organisers and increase visitors to events in both countries. The MoU is designed to increase collaboration including exchanging information to promote products, services and joint offerings as well as reciprocal links of each association’s website. Construction work on the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) venue in Jakarta is reportedly 80% complete. The venue is scheduled to open for business in January when it will host a Michael Bublé concert with 10,000 fans. The venue cost is close to US$320 million and it will feature 50,000 m2 across ten halls as well as an additional 50,000 m2 of outdoor space and a 4,000 m2 convention hall.
